CAMP POLICIES

Due to the large number of children we serve, we will support your child in keeping track of their belongings, but we cannot be held responsible for any missing items. We will do our best and so will your child!

While we welcome children who are 4.5 and older, this camp is only able to accommodate children who are potty trained and able to clean themselves after using the restroom.

We will keep your child’s water bottle refilled and offer 2 healthy snacks during the camp day. Lunch will not be provided. Children & counselors are not able to purchase food during camp hours. Please be sure to send campers with a nutritious meal as we’ll be very active through the camp day.

Unless explicitly requested by us, please do not send your child with money. We cannot be held responsible for any missing personal items, including money.

If your child has any specific needs, please be sure to include all details prior so we can plan to properly accommodate.

KPTA does not allow hitting, bullying, or violence of any kind. Depending on the severity of their behavior, we will handle the situation in the following way. First incident will result in a conversation with the guardian and a warning. Second incident will result in child missing a day of camp. Third incident can result in a week off, or expulsion from the camp. Incidents will be determined on a case by case basis and include open communication with the guardian.

KPTA is a technology free camp. We strongly urge you not to send any electronics with your campers. Campgrounds have limited data, so an excess of cellphones can reduce speeds for staff usage during emergency situations. We also want to avoid any situations where a camper has age inappropriate content on their device and exposes it to other campers. Lastly, we can not be held responsible if they misplace their electronic devices. So please keep your kid’s cell phones while they’re at camp!

Staff will be taking videos and pictures to capture all the fun campers have with KPTA. We will be happy to send you any pictures of your child, and if we take a really wonderful picture, we may use it for our content. If you have a problem with this, please inform us ahead of time.

By signing up for camp, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to these policies. We’re excited for your child to join and have a great KPTA camp experience!
